| He took the phrase to lick the bowl literally. |
The baby is pummeling the Initiate Nesting Sequence button with its tiny little fists. I'm frantically trying to keep up with laundry. (Which is impossible, did you know?) Physically impossible unless we run around pretending we lived in the Garden of Eden or I develop paper Laundry Day clothes. I bet there is a market for that. Laundry doers across America would buy them just so they could feel "caught up" on laundry one day a week. However, I digress from the real purpose of this post.
Milestones
- Eyelashes! The baby has them now. I hope they are like Thomas's and not mine.
- [S]he should be a little over 2 lbs and is almost 15 inches long. One update said about the size of an eggplant. I'm pretty sure that I've had an eggplant baby before. They must grow eggplants different sizes at different websites. I had no idea that there was no standardized Eggplant Measuring System.
- I'm officially, inarguably in the third trimester. My weekly emails all say that I'm in the home stretch! A little more irony for Jen.
- I get startled when I catch a glimpse of myself walking by the big mirror in the bedroom. I don't feel like a school bus.
- On a sappy note: I thought it was pretty cool the way my husband got all protective and lovey the first time I was pregnant. It's way cooler seeing Mini Man do the same thing.
- Sorry for the graphic and personal nature of this item, but it strikes my sense of humor that someone might need the physics of pregnancy explained at this point. A note in one book says, "Since the muscles of your pelvic floor may not be able to prevent leakage when you laugh, cough, or strain to lift something, empty your bladder often." Ummmm....yeah. Do people actually make it to this point without learning that on their own?

Ha, home stretch. More 'ha' about the peeing often thing. So glad things are progressing nicely and your guys are excited about this upcoming baby!
