Just three short days, October 28th, after I hit enter on that last post, Baby Girl decided to make her entrance into this world. I can hardly believe that two weeks have gone by since. Fourteen nights of nursing then falling asleep in the recliner, fourteen days of, well, nursing and falling asleep in the recliner. In the last six years I had forgotten some things. Minor items like how newborns really don't do much, how that Not Doing Much tends to be all consuming to the point where you are lucky to get a shower and brush your teeth everyday, I also forgot that at one time, I had fairly mastered the art of typing one-handed. I'm a little rusty so this will be a short post.
I have been diligently photographing and keeping a journal so in a week or two when things settle down, I will go back and post all the great things I had to leave out today.
But I won't leave you empty-handed. This is my favorite so far.
